Call for Proposals

Our call for proposals is open until April 30, 2026 (AoE)

SFC will be hosting the fourth edition of our community oriented conference August 6-9th in Vancouver, BC, in Canada. The event will focus on the creation and impact of free and open source software, uplifting contributors of all experience. We will have 5 rooms with 10+ tracks of talks over 3 days, and many of the tracks will be community-run, similar to the DevRooms at FOSDEM or the miniconfs at LinuxConfAU. You can view the list of tracks you can submit proposals to here.

To submit a talk you must first register an account (see button below), to make a speaker profile and then select the track you want to submit to along with some additional information. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email us at conference@sfconservancy.org.
