    Christoph Hellwig

    Christoph Hellwig has been working on the Linux kernel and various other Free Software projects since 1999.

    Since 2004 he has been running his own consulting business specializing in Linux file systems and storage, but also working on virtualization and the RISC-V open instruction set. He is an active participant in the NVMe technical working group and the IEFT Network File System Version 4 working group. He is one of the maintainers of the Linux NVMe driver, and one of the busiest contributors to the Linux kernel.

    Damien Le Moal manages the System Software Group within WD Research. Damien has over 30 years of experience in the area of system software, operating systems and storage software solutions. Damien is involved in research activities including block device management and file systems. He is a regular contributor to the Linux kernel (file systems, block layer, SCSI, ATA and NVMe subsystems), is the maintainer of the kernel ATA subsystem and of the zonefs file system, and is the author and maintainer of several open-source projects.

    Nikola Grcevski has worked as a software engineer for more than 20 years, mostly in the field of compilers, managed runtimes and performance optimization. Most recently he's working on low level application instrumentation with eBPF at Grafana Labs. He's currently a maintainer of two OpenTelemetry projects: OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation and OpenTelemetry Injector.

    Rafael Roquetto

    Rafael is a software engineer who has been building systems software in C++ and contributing to open source projects since 2005. He is a maintainer of OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation (OBI), where he works on eBPF-based application observability and auto-instrumentation. Prior to OBI, he contributed to Grafana Beyla before its donation to the OpenTelemetry project.

    Earlier in his career, Rafael worked extensively with the Qt project, serving as the maintainer of Qt's QNX integration plugin and contributing to QtCore, QtMultimedia, Qt Creator, and qmake. While at Blackmagic Design, he architected a declarative UI framework for the company's embedded real-time operating systems, laying the foundation for interfaces used across products including digital cinema cameras and ATEM switchers.

    His work has often sat at the boundary between applications and operating systems, spanning embedded user interfaces, developer tools, kernel-level instrumentation, and observability systems that help explain what software is really doing.

    Roan Richmond is a Software Engineer working in Automotive for Codethink. He has worked on multiple large scale automotive projects for different client OEMs, specialising in Automotive Linux for Software-Defined-Vehicles (SDV). Focusing on both the integration of Linux into complex Automotive stacks and how we can measure trust in these large systems often comprising of vendor supplied binaries.

    Roan also has contributions into Open-Source projects such as the Linux kernel, QEMU, CVA6 and the Trustable Software Framework.

    At work Roan is focused on how Linux can be configured to be Safe enough to run ASIL-D rated processes, which previously were typically constrained to propriety Real-Time-Operating-Systems, such as AUTOSAR.

    Yaakov Stein

    Yaakov is a software engineer at Meta specializing in eBPF and Linux kernel networking. He is a core contributor to the bpfilter project, an open-source initiative to modernize Linux packet filtering using eBPF. His work spans bpfilter's core internals, broadening its feature set, and bringing it to production environments. Previously, he contributed to the sched_ext project, building open-source tooling for eBPF-based Linux schedulers. Currently based in New York, Yaakov enjoys diving into systems and understanding how they work across the different levels of the stack.
