Speaker - Dr. Tannistha Nandi
Biography
Dr. Tannistha Nandi is a member of the Advanced Research Computing (ARC) team at the University of British Columbia. She holds a PhD in Genomics and Bioinformatics and brings extensive experience in research and data science from her work at the Genome Institute of Singapore and the University of Calgary. Dr. Nandi is dedicated to enabling researchers to achieve their scientific goals by bridging advanced computing with data-intensive research. She collaborates closely with the research community to provide high-performance computing (HPC) consultations, support complex software environments, and advance research data management practices. Her work focuses on understanding research needs and translating them into effective, data-driven, and high-throughput computational solutions, empowering innovation across disciplines.
